The Problem

The "Too Small" Problem

It's a common complaint in Christchurch: finding an electrician to actually show up for the "small" jobs. The extractor fan that stopped working in 2021. The cracked socket in the hallway. The thermostat that won't hold temperature.

If it's broken, unsafe, or just annoying you - Sam fixes it. No job is too small, and every job gets the same standard of workmanship. Give him a call, get a price, and get it sorted.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

My oven stopped working - do you fix the oven or just replace it?

Sam can often replace the internal oven element if that is the point of failure. If the entire unit needs replacing, he can disconnect the old one and safely wire in your new purchase.

Can I just replace a broken socket myself?

In New Zealand, replacing fittings technically falls under prescribed electrical work. While homeowners can do some minor work, it must be checked by an inspector. It is exponentially safer (and usually cheaper than an inspection) to just have Sam do it.

Will you actually come out for just one broken switch?

Yes. Give Sam a call and he can book you in.
