Do you charge a call-out fee?
No, we don't charge a hidden call-out fee. We provide free quotes. For diagnostic work or fault finding where tools are required, we charge our standard hourly rate from the time we arrive.
Are you fully qualified and insured?
Yes, Sam is a fully qualified, registered electrician with the New Zealand Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB). We hold full public liability insurance.
Do you provide Certificates of Compliance?
Absolutely. We provide a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) or Electrical Safety Certificate (ESC) for all work as required by New Zealand law.
What areas of Christchurch do you cover?
We cover all of Christchurch and the wider Canterbury area. This includes north to Rangiora, south to Rolleston and Lincoln, and everywhere in between.
Can you give me a quote over the phone?
For very simple, standard jobs (like swapping a light fitting) we can often give an estimate over the phone. For most jobs, we prefer to visit in person to assess the existing wiring so we can give you a firm, accurate quote with no surprises.
